Basic Info:  I was born in Houston and grew up in Austin, Texas. I married Rhonda, my soul-mate and life partner, in 1988, and we have two beautiful daughters, Kimberly and Katey. We have been living here in the Treasure Valley of Idaho since 2005.

Education:  Bachelor's degree in History from Baylor University, Waco, TX (1985); Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth (1992); Doctor of Ministry degree from Golden Gate Seminary in San Francisco (2004)

Interests and Favorites
Places: I enjoy the history and the beauty found in the New England states. I would love someday for my wife and I to visit Scotland.

What's on my iPod:  Sports podcasts, contemporary Christian worship (i.e. Jeremy Camp), and sermons by Andy Stanley and Ravi Zacharias

Books:  Anything by C.S. Lewis, Thom Rainer, John Piper, J.R.R. Tolkien, and Dr. Luke

What I TiVo:  Monk, Survivor, and the Amazing Race

Movies:  Star Trek, Star Wars, Pink Panther (classic), and anything with a happy ending!

Hobbies:  Playing golf badly, reading mystery novels, and following Dallas Cowboys football

Dislikes:  Cats! Tomatoes! And "short people" jokes!!

Odd fact:  I am a fan of both Picasso and "The Red Green Show".
