My name is Duncan Howard and I was born in Ogden, Utah.  My wife, Marsha, and I attended the same high school at different times but did not meet until we were in college.  We both moved to Boise in 1983 and married a year later.  It's hard to believe that was almost 30 years ago!  Boise is where we raised our three kids: Derek, Amber and Dustin.  Now we are enjoying the grandparent stage of life with three little ones that make our life full and exciting!

Education/Experience:  I have an Associate of Applied Science degree in Automotive Engineering with a Business Marketing minor from Weber State University.  I am an inside salesman with Sherwin Williams paints, having worked in this industry for almost 26 years.  I also enjoy being a member of the Audio/Visual Team at church.

Favorite Places:  I love to vacation on the beaches of the Oregon coast and camp in the mountains.

What's on my iPod:  I'm more of the old school type when it comes to listening to music; my favorite CD artists are White Heart, Newsboys, Petra, Kutless, Stryper, Switchfoot, Lost Dogs, DC Talk, Skillet, Amy Grant, Third Day, Michael W. Smith, and the list goes on!

Books & Movies:  My favorite books are Lord of the Rings, all of J.RR. Tolkien's writings, and, of course - the Bible.  Some of my favorite movies are Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit and many science fiction films.  Don't tell anyone, but there are also a few chick flicks I enjoy.

Hobbies:  Soccer refereeing, coin collecting, PC puzzle games (MYST), and religious topical research.

Favorite scriptures: "For it is by grace you have been saved through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9) and the good news about salvation given by the prophets to Israel in Isaiah 53.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.   John 1:1
